CCSO on the Look-Out for Sharp-Dressed Dawg Fan
On January, 6, 2012, at approximately 10:15am and again at 10:45am on 1/16/2012, a suspect entered the Dillards Store locate at 1910 Wells Rd. (Orange Park Mall). The suspect was only in Dillards for sixty seconds but was able to “select” nine expensive Polo brand shirts worth $700. The suspect exited the store and was observed entering the passenger side of an older model, white, Buick 4-door. According to witnesses, the vehicle had a large Georgia Bulldog sticker on the back window.
The male suspect is possibly in his 30’s, with a bald or shaved head, wearing a camouflage jacket. During the second theft attempt, the suspect dropped the targeted items when store security attempted to make contact with him. The security officer advised that he did get into a white car with a large “Bulldog” sticker on the back window, which is the same vehicle description from the first incident.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows about a vehicle that matches the description above is asked to contact our agency at 904-264-6512. Callers will be connected to Det. Jacob Hawkins in the CCSO General Investigations Unit.
Thank you, Mary Justino (CCSO PIO)
