LAST FREE Safe Boating Class of FALL 2011
United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14-5 announces the last FREE Safe Boating class of Fall 2011 on Saturday October 22ndth at their base of operations in Green Cove Springs. The BoatSmart course is approved by the State of Florida, the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), and recognized by the United States Coast Guard. Upon completion of this one day training, students are asked to complete a multiple choice test which is forwarded to the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife. With successful completion, participants are mailed a State of Florida Boating Safety Education ID card.
This one-day class will be held in Green Cove Springs at 910 Roland Avenue at the Clay County Port, Inc. (Reynolds), south side of SR16E --- behind the Military Museum of North Floridaís Quonset hut. Class runs from 9:00 AM (promptly) to about 4:00 PM. Different Auxiliarists present the various chapters and hands-on activities are included.
