Prescription Drug Take Back Day

This morning Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi introduced a resolution which was signed by the Governor and the Cabinet proclaiming August 27th, 2011 Prescription Drug Take Back Day for the State of Florida. In an effort to bring statewide awareness to the prescription drug abuse problem local Law Enforcement is working with our community partners and have organized 72 sites across the State of Florida to take receipt of unwanted or expired medications in an event called Project Drug Drop.
