PUBLIC INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT

A "Red Light Detail" was conducted at Kingsley/Blanding from 1330 to 1530 on 8/5/9, a project of the CCSO Traffic Unit.

In just two hours, here is what we encountered at this one intersection and the results:

Operational Plan Stats:
Arrests: 2 – Arrests for DWLSR (Driving with License Suspended or Revoked)
Citations issued: 30 - Total Citations as follows:
2 - Criminal Citations (DWLSR….same two people arrested were also issued tickets)
16 – Moving Citations (Run Red Light)
8 – Non-Moving Citations (Improper Equipment / Seatbelt)
4 – Warning Citations (Improper Equipment / Seatbelt

Our deputies conduct these sort of details periodically in areas (like Kingsley and Blanding) where the traffic complaints from citizens are the highest.
