Ponte Vedra Man Arrested for Burglaries

Ponte Vedra Man arrested for Multiple Clay/Orange Park Burglaries

45-year-old James Cottle Jr. of St. Johns County was arrested this week and is facing several felony charges related to burglaries of businesses in the Orange Park area that occurred this month.

Please see the attached documents for details.

The businesses CCSO detectives believe this defendant burglarized include the Sheik Sandwich Shop (Kingsley Ave), Pearl of the Orient (Kingsley Ave) and the Jiffy Lube at 132 Blanding Blvd. In addition, the Orange Park Police Department arrested Cottle for the burglary of the Brakes4Less located on Park Avenue which is inside the city limits of Orange Park. This arrest by OPPD was made on 2-12-09. Please contact that agency directly for additional information on that case.

The investigation into Cottle's criminal activity in our area is ongoing.
