After our agency has confirmed that you meet this criteria, you will then be eligible to apply for a position. Reserve deputies do many of the same functions as full-time deputies....direct traffic,
provide security at school functions, operate PWC's (jet ski's),
boats, ATV's for search and rescue, ride a beat with other deputies,
and much more. You will become a team member working side by side
with the staff of the Clay County Sheriff's Office. You will become
a valuable asset to our community keeping Clay County a safe place
in which to live and work.
